Choosing protection is easier when the differences are clear. Names, lengths, pack sizes and formats each tell you something useful. You do not need to become a materials expert to make a considered choice; you need information that relates to how you intend to use the product.
Here is a straightforward introduction to the current Safe V collection.
Safe V Tiny 160 is a 160 mm pantyliner, with 40 units per pack. Daily Essential 180 is 180 mm long and contains 42 units. Both are everyday pantyliners; the most direct difference is their length and pack count.
Choose according to your preference for coverage and fit. A pantyliner is not interchangeable with a menstrual pad simply because one pack contains more pieces.
Safe V Day Active 245 measures 245 mm and contains 20 pads per pack. It is our daytime menstrual pad. Night Serenity 350 measures 350 mm and contains 10 pads, with a longer format designed for nighttime coverage.
The daytime and nighttime names describe their intended designs. They are useful starting points for comparison, not a promise of a particular number of hours of wear or a guarantee against leaks.
Safe V Intimate 360° is disposable period underwear, sold in packs of three in sizes M-L and L-XL. It offers an alternative format to a pad attached to underwear. Because it is disposable, it is not a washable, reusable garment.
Check the applicable size information before choosing. Classic pad materials and technologies should not be assumed to apply to Intimate 360°.
Classic pantyliners and pads have a 100% cotton skin-contact layer. The packaging diagrams describe five components for the pantyliners and eight for the pads, including the removable paper protecting the adhesive. These are not five or eight absorbent layers.
